This smoothie bowl is a feast for the eyes—and the stomach! Its thick and creamy texture is thanks to coconut milk and heart-healthy avocado. The decadent-tasting smoothie has the perfect texture for adding all kinds of toppings to "float" on top and eat with a spoon!

Ingredients:

For the smoothie bowls:
  • 1 (14-ounce/398 mL) can light coconut milk
  • Heaping 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
  • Heaping 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/4 cup avocado
  • 1 teaspoon (5 mL) fresh lime juice (optional)
  • 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons (22.5 to 30 mL) pure maple syrup, to taste
  • 3 ice cubes, or as desired
Suggested Toppings:
  • Fresh or frozen and thawed strawberries, sliced
  • Fresh or frozen and thawed raspberries
  • Granola
  • Hemp hearts
  • Almond butter
  • Large-flake dried coconut

Directions:

  1. Add all smoothie ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend on high until super smooth. Adjust sweetness if desired. Likewise, add more ice if a colder smoothie is desired, and blend again.
  2. Pour into 2 bowls, and top with your desired toppings. Serve immediately and enjoy with a spoon!
